Moebius Cast-on

What you see here is definitely one of the more advanced knitting tasks I’ve taken on recently. It’s been a lot of st st for 43 inches at a time. This is the start of a Moebius capelet – which was a Handmaiden kit. It’s knit in a single piece with a half twist – inspired by the original Möbius strip.

The cast-on was made possible by this great video of a Moebius cast-on and these more verbose instructions than the ones in my pattern.

  1. Very cool. Let me know when you’re ready to take on a Klein Bottle toque, I’d commission that! Can’t wait to see how the capelet turns out.
