What I’m currently paying to be online right now for one hour:
Bell Network Access – One Hour 7.50
PST: $0.60
GST: $0.45
Total: $8.55
Minimum wage in Ontario for hourly workers (and what the baristas around me are probably earning): $8.00
Rate I would be paying if I bought single hours of wireless access for a year (24 hours a day): $74,898
Crazy isn’t it!
And then Starbucks blasts your ears full of noise making it tough to concentrate on getting the most out of your $8+/hr wireless connection.
They really need to change back to the good ole days. And of course provide free wireless like Caribou Coffee!
Good Post! Keep up the effort.
Matt
