Week 9: The Cover Girl Shoot

From thousands of applicants, it’s down to two cats. Will it be Nibbles, the confident purebred from California? Or, Asterix the sassy stray from they alley behind a McDonald’s. This week, both cats do their best in the Cover Girl photo shoot. But, when the judges review the Cover Girl photo shoot and the cats’ progress from week to week, they say they can pick a clear winner. It’s Asterix!

Week 8: The Controversial Photo Shoot

In this week’s episode, Tyra told the cats she wanted to do a photo shoot that would show the dark side of kitten modelling. Fashion isn’t always pretty. Fluffy was going to show feline AIDS. Nibbles was going to portray a death caused by feline high-rise syndrome. Asterix is portraying catnip addiction. When the cats were in front of the panel, Tyra told Asterix that she loved how she was doing odd things with her paws in all the shots and really showing a lot of different angles.

Week 7: The Unbearable Cuteness of Being

This week, Tyra sat down with all of the cats to talk about their body image. Then, they went right into a nude photo shoot. Upon seeing Asterix’s photo, Twiggy wondered where this cat has been the last six weeks. The judging panel all agreed that her eye contact with the camera was hypnotic. Asterix advances in hopes of becoming ANTC.

Week 6: The cat who was nearly eliminated

This week, the cat models learned about the difference between sexy and slutty. The spayed cats learn how to pole dance to empower themselves. In judging panel, Miss J. tells Asterix that she is looking more sleepy than sexy in this photo. Tyra thinks that Asterix isn’t listening to what they’ve been telling her about her face. When Asterix ends up in the bottom two, Tyra gives her another chance.

Week 5: The cat who jumped

Six beautiful cats stand before her; but, Tyra only has 5 photos in her hands. The model cats learned about movement this week and had to show off what they had learned in the photo shoot. Tyra tells Asterix that she needs to elongate her neck to make herself look thinner in her photos. Unlike most of the uncooperative cats, Asterix had a lot of photos to choose from, and the panel loved the movement Asterix had in this photo.

Week 4: Soft Paws

It’s week 4, and another cat will be eliminated from the journey toward becoming ANTC. The photo shoot this week is for Soft Paws claw covers. Twiggy says it’s one of the best photos she’s seen in the competition. But, Tyra warns Asterix that pulling the same look won’t cut it in this competition.

Week 3: More cat fights

Being the token, plus-sized cat model is hard. But, in this week’s photo shoot, Asterix has managed to lengthen the line of her body by extending her paws forward. She also crossed her paws in a cute way. Cat fights ensue in the model house. Asterix manages to advance even though the judges criticize her for having that blank look on her face.

Week 2: Fierce

It’s Week 2. Asterix isn’t getting along with the other cats. Jay Manuel tells her to not worry and just focus on her own shots. Asterix manages to pull off this fierce beauty shot and is still in the running in the journey toward becoming ANTC.

Week 1: The furst cut

It’s week one, and Tyra only has 10 photos in her hands. Asterix did an average job on her first photo shoot. Despite doing the weird ear thing, she makes it through to the next round. Perhaps the ear thing is more fashion than commercial.
